EDM #129 - People Doing Something

How 'bout little people doing something? Kids on swings is a great activity, though motion sickness kept my swinging time to very short spurts. I only did it because the other kids did.

This sketch was actually a disaster in my watercolor Moleskine. It's on the back side of the paper, so the ink spread even though it was Rapidograph ink. Then, I found the paper too rough to suit me for colored pencil. Still, using colored pencils always makes me feel like I'm doing the adult version of color-crayons. Perhaps I should purchase a coloring book and pull out my color-crayons!

EDM #115 - Draw a Shopping Cart

The vehicle shopping carts for children are cute, but I'd hate to be the mom pushing one. At least they keep the kids confined and out of the shopping aisles.

Yes. It is ugly, and it has some sentimental value; however, its days may be numbered.

More Rapidograph Play

Though I was trying to avoid doing the stiff outline drawings, I am becoming more comfortable using the Rapidograph as a drawing pen. I'm definitely tired of dragons for now.

Rapidograph Play

Just playing with a technical pen. Then I added some WC pencil, but I either should have waited longer for it to dry, or I scratched the paper surface around the lower tail. The background looked wimpy so I added colored pencil. I love the way I zone out while playing with colored pencil ... or am I in the zone? I am getting more comfortable with the Rapidograph.

EDM #8

This is my favorite watch. The face is larger than my wrist, but I can easily see the numbers! Not bad for $5.

Rapidograph pens were used. My stash of these pens came from years ago when I would draw graphs for presentations. Pre-computer. The pens are designed to be used perpendicular to the paper, but so far they are doing great at an angle for drawing. These may work out well for me.
