Oil Painting #3 - Garlic

Finished another one, and it is time to start counting these little rascals.

This is also 5"x7" on canvas paper. Right now I am more interested in becoming familiar with the brushes and the paint, but I may switch to canvas panels soon.

Oil paints must be doggie-fluff magnets! My magnifying glass and pointed tweezers got a workout with this one.

Future BLT Component

This tomato will soon be joined with bacon for a delicious sandwich. I'm out of lettuce, but who cares! BLT's would suit me three times a day, though I do miss the old-fashioned, more acidic tomatoes.

Inky Testing

Still playing with my Lamy fountain pen and Noodler's ink, and I need to give them up for the Moleskine sketchbook and stick with the disposable drawing pens. I could use my Rapidographs, but I'm trying to loosen up with my ink drawings, and those will not do for now because I tend to tighten up with them.

Tight! Tight! Tight! But, I'm using fewer pencil guidelines.
