Being such a spaz with sketching and with occasional interference from dyslexia, I seldom try ink without at least a few pencil guidelines. Today, without pencil guidelines, I tested myself with a roller pen on index cards, 3"x5", to see how I would do with some very quick sketches. They are not the greatest, but I could not have done them four months ago!
The little wash I added was with a water-soluble pencil and Niji waterbrush.
