Fruity Christmas

While hoping someone would send me a box of fruit for Christmas, UPS kindly delivered a box with a selection of oranges, apples, and pears. I'm sending a thank-you note on the postcard I painted of some of the fruit. By the way, they're all delicious.

Starting a Postcard Collection

Instead of having to quickly paint a postcard when needed, maybe painting a few to have on hand would be convenient. Previously they were done as jokes, and that's so much easier than trying to do something nice. Here's my first attempt.

Doggie Power

My mother sent me some money to help with my air-conditioning bill, so I painted a postcard on which I can write her a thank-you note. My dog's constant tail-wagging has certainly been useful during this hot weather.

Postcard Easter Bonnet

A check from my mother arrived yesterday. There was a note that she had meant to send it to me earlier so I could buy an Easter bonnet. No, I would not buy nor wear an Easter bonnet!

My thank-you note to her is on a postcard. It actually looks like me!

It's much easier to do something as a joke. No pressure to get everything right. The background color is a poor choice, but it doesn't matter. It's a joke. I am pleased with it overall.
