I need to do more birds.
1. They're cute.
2. My bird drawings have improved.
3. Great watercolor practice both on the birds and the backgrounds.
I'm not overly interested in birds, but the basic drawings are simple ... simpler than when I tried some bird exercises two months ago ... and hopefully they will help me develop skill with backgrounds.

You've made a lot of progress since Feb. Good therapy aye. Good for what ails you.
This is so sweet..it is a beautiful illustration. Great shading again and you did great on his eye - this is really lovely!

Nicely done, Jenny. Good proportions and a feeling of the character of the bird. He looks alert and ready to take flight.
BEAUTIFUL! Such a cheerful looking fellow!
It's wonderful!! I love those little chipping sparrows and you captured their cheery alert look perfectly!

I truly love your clean lines and "unassuming" coloring. Nothing competes with each other so we can just enjoy the lovely bird.
