Ignore the wierd shapes and shadowing, please. The apple on the left was done with a grey underpainting, grey mixed of Burnt Sienna and Ultramarine. I didn't like it. Too rough with dull color. The apple on the right does not have an underpainting. Both are mainly Alizarin Crimson.

Underpainting Funky Apples
Ignore the wierd shapes and shadowing, please. The apple on the left was done with a grey underpainting, grey mixed of Burnt Sienna and Ultramarine. I didn't like it. Too rough with dull color. The apple on the right does not have an underpainting. Both are mainly Alizarin Crimson.
