I dislike my second attempt, but not as much as I dislike my first attempt. A lot more practice with foilage is needed.
Iron gates and windows will be avoided from now on because they are time-consuming and I need to work on other things..

They are both lovely but I sure know what you are saying about trying it again. I do the same thing. I just call it practice. but this really is lovely.
Just found your blog and I am so impressed with your skteching. It sounds like you just got back to it again like I have after over 35 years. You are doing fantastic!! I think we are our own worst critics--especially when we are trying to do them realistically and perfectly--hehe! I liked both your windows! :)
