Yikes! Complicated!

This is more complicated than what I usually try, and it has perspective problems to overcome. Yes, I know the canal water is too dark, or everything above the canal is too light.

Overall, I am pleased. I could not have done this much a month ago.

Jenny this is a lovely sketch, the brickwork showing through the aged rendering is handled perfectly. I think you coped with the perspective issues well.

You did a great job on the wall with areas of exposed bricks! Lovely....

Wonderful job on this. The brick is marvelous and, well, the whole picture is so lovely and you should be proud.

Beautiful - you are off to a great (second) start. I usually use the Micon .005 with watercolour.

This is so pretty- technical issues and all. The colors are gorgeous, the way you've handled the wall- well done! I don't think the canal water is too dark- it just seems a bit too saturated. It it was a more subdued blue, it would read more like water.
I hope you're puffy chested and proud of this one- you should be!

I really liked your sketch of your brush mug too- nice work!

I really like this sketch expecially the way you painted the brick walls.
