Sunflowers

Another background destroyed by me. Ta-da!

My vision has deteriorated in the last month, so I'm trying to work around distortion and guessing where pen and paper meet. Just another challenge in life.

From a photo in the WetCanvas! Image Library.

I really don't think you destroyed the background. My backgrounds are almost always like this!;-) The sunflowers are very pretty. I only would have cropped the sketch, so that the white on the left would have been eliminated.
Kind regards!

A little poetry fragment would go nicely - my strategy when I have a troublesome spot! I like how the flowers are looking in two different directions, also. The sky over Phoenix right now is turned a bright peach color as dusk comes, and all the yellow flowers look super-yellow, but I don't have sunflowers!

Definitely not a destroyed background! I think it's very effective as it is. I was surprised that you said that. I'm so sorry about your vision failing you. Will you be able to do anything about it?

Beautiful, gorgeous sunflowers! Agree with others - you didn't destroy the background.

I love both the flowers and the background - a gorgeous image! Nothing destroyed here. Sometimes I find that I think something turned out poorly, only to like it a few days later... Hope your vision improves...
