EDM #81 - Draw a Streetlight

Streetlights are our sentinels standing guard against the night. To me they are all interesting, though I prefer the older styles, and they are comforting.

Years ago there was a political fight over who would pay for the streetlights along the expressways around our city, so the lights were turned off for awhile. The sections where the lights were off were depressing.

I'm still smearing ink because I forget to wait for the ink to dry. Duh!

Gee Jenny, this is so perfectly drawn, each is the same. Wonderful job on this.

I am also guilty of not waiting for something to dry. I feel like the most impatient person in the world when I am painting. I have to walk away and do a little housework before trying to finish. At least I get a little cleaning done :)

BEAUTIFUL -- AND UTTERLY ROMANTIC! I LOVE YOUR WORDS, TOO!

I cannot say it enough nor emphatic enough how precise your lines are. The curves are clean and they seem to swirl in one swift curl. Their movements are exquisitely poetic. Wonderful work, Jenny. As always :)

Gosh, this looks like it should be in a frame hanging in a special little shop. It's so beautifully done. I like it very much and could also see it as a very nice card.
