What an adorable painting! The floor is just striking and the kitties so cute. I agree that fur is so difficlut but you got the impression across just fine.
Jenny, this is just beautiful. I think you should try fur every day...a delightful and captivating painting. Is it in your sketchbook, or loose? It would be a good one to sell, at least I think so!
I love siamese cats. My mother bred them back in the mid 50's and I owned one until I was married. My lynx point Ragdoll died last year...a difficult thing for me since she was a very special cat. Yesterday a lynx point witn "flame" points showed up in the yard...hungry, tired, and scared. I fed her but didn't see her today.
I don't know if I will own one again. For now, I save statues, cards, note pads, calendars, with images of Saimese on them. Thanks for posting this for us to enjoy.

I like the "flump!" of their bodies across the geometric floor. I think the optimum time to try fur again would be right now.
