In an effort to loosen up, I thought sketching a bunch of buildings might help. With an inexpensive sketchbook and a Uni-ball Signo pen, I am ready to give it a try. There will be kinda' vertical and kinda' horizontal lines involved, and none will be straight.
Trying to add a little color, I went for my watercolor pencils. My greens are all bluish-green, so more are on order. I don't want to spend too much time in this project with mixing colors. At least the paper held up well with the water.
This should be a nice break from the tiny details in the train sets.
