Choo-Choo 07

Finally, another locomotive. This is the Lafayette, circa 1840.

Between my very short attention span and mild dyslexia, sketching these trains can be more complicated than they should be, but it's good to have another locomotive completed.

These drawings are great. I like the detail and your drawing style. I think you'll have a really interesting collection once the book is completely full.

And if my son (age 3)were ever to come across this train collection in real life, I think it might be the high point of his young life. Yours appear to be what we call "fragile choo-choos" which means that they are not of the Thomas variety.

I love trains, and your train illustrations are magically fun to look at. Love the steam and the flowers in this one too. Nice design.

Your train is just a delight, as are all you drawings! There is so much "joy" in your work.

Thanks, everyone. I'm glad you're having fun with my trains. They are tiny in real life, so even adults have to be careful with them. The Lafayette model isn't quite two inches tall, including the smoke stack.

Fabulous collection you have! When we move up to electrics, I'd love to get a few historics, too! We're still doing Thomas, too! The Cub's about to turn 6 and has combined wooden tracks with Legos this week.
