Enough with Roses

Just couldn't get into one more rose. I'm sure the practice is good for me, but I don't like the results of my efforts. One day I will be more comfortable with ink and shading, but not today. At least my new Pilot pen from the previous post is more comfortable in my hand than my previous pens.

If anyone is interested, here are the links where I purchased my pens.
His Nibs
Pilot 78G, Fine Nib, $25
Hero Account, XXF Nib, $10

It is such a beautiful rose! And love the guy with the rose in his mouth :)

I like your roses. I hope you’ll draw them again once you’re feeling more comfortable with ink. Oh, I also love the Don Juan guy with the stem of rose in between his teeth.

Jenny!!! Just when I thought I’ve cured my fountain pen obsession, you must talk and put links about them. (sigh)

Looks to me like you're doing a pretty good job with those roses! They'd look great with a nice colorful wash on them too....

Your romantic Caballero with the rose is just the right touch. You have more courage than I, even to tackle a Rose.
