New Year's resolutions are not for me. I've never understood the need to make them on the first of the year. Throughout the year I make resolutions and goals as needed.
Now that I am in my later years *cough*, they would be difficult to remember. Don't suggest a list. I lose those.
This is on the second page of my larger watercolor Moleskine. I think I prefer the pocket size. This one is really wide when fully open. With both sizes there is a problem in that I usually prefer a vertical format. These are not major problems, so I will enjoy this book.
Happy New Year!

Beautiful, delicate hand! Any suggestions for me - I'm having a difficult time really "seeing" and drawing hands.

I agree with Shirley; your hand painting is just beautiful. Great job.
I'm with you-simple goals-just practice and enjoy art. And I love the small Moleskine also-so easy to carry and use.
This is a lovely painting.
Love your cute little bough on the finger...enjoy your 2008 and yes, me too, I constantly set and adapt goals throughout the year...keep it simple and enjoy!

graceful, lovely sketch!
Lovely, graceful hand. :)
*BTW, tying string around finger never works in reminding me. It just cut my finger's blood circulation. ;)
I'm with you on the New Year resolution thing - especially as last year I made a load, announced them on my blog and then didn't keep one. In some ways they just set you up for failure.
This is really very lovely indeed.
Such a graceful, delicate hand drawing. I really like it! - Barbara
